What are Sensory Gardens? A sensory garden is a space where children and adults can evoke all five senses (sight, touch, taste, hearing, and smell). Sensory gardens are designed to be accessible to people of all abilities and backgrounds. As a mom to a special needs child, I have always been passionate about creating spaces that are all inclusive, spaces that present calm and soothing characteristics, and spaces that allow individuals to explore and learn outdoors.
